Well, another bad ref decides a 2010 world cup game. In the 31′ minute, the South African ref gives Valon Behrami a red card, and decides the fate of the game. Behrami, who was getting kicked and pulled from behind, way simply shielding the ball, when the awful line judge raised his flag. The replay showed absolutely nothing that would justify a red card (I can see a yellow….maybe). The Swiss, who are known for their defense, were able to hold off Chile for over 40 minutes before conceding a goal on a great header. The ref issued 10 total cards (9 yellows, 1 red) and completely ruined the game. I don’t know what else needs to happen before FIFA steps in and does something. The refs have completely ruined this 2010 World Cup so far. The stakes are just too high to have these pathetic refs decide the outcome. I’m so angry right now.
Surely this was a terrible call, but how have you managed to run this site without mentioning Koman Coulibaly? The man singlehandedly stole the game from the United States and a blog dedicated to pointing out bad calls leaves it alone?
Switzerland produce 2 shoots to target. in the whole game.. and when they in fact did have 11 players produced absolutely nothing,,
Chile should have won this game at least 3-0 .. the loosed so many goals was impossible to believe,,
Switzerland was pretty much the same like honduras,, not impressed in they way to play, chilean players said that they should have won this by minimun 4 goals diffrent, they feeled they were superio to them in any aspect .. Switzerland team is a team that go back and defend the whole game regarthless of having 11 players . Chilean players dont think that the game would have change pretty much if Switzerland play with 11., their style is defend to the death the 0- 0., and Chile play offensive futbol.
By the way chile recieved 7 yellow cards som cards absolutely ridiculousm and the game was actually pretty fair.
The refery was bad ,, no question about it.

The quality of this referees are so low. Chile will have now 3 players suspended counse of cards, many card were unfair including the red one.
this is awful. Why Fifa take in this referees.
